CallPayMin takes a 20% platform fee on paid consultations, so experts keep 80% of their earnings.

What is per-minute billing?+
Per-minute billing means clients are charged only for the exact time they use, calculated to the second. Experts set their per-minute rate, and billing starts when the call begins. Experts are guaranteed payment even if the call drops due to technical issues.
Do I need to download any software?+
No downloads required for web calls. CallPayMin works directly in your browser with peer-to-peer video calling. We also offer mobile apps for iOS and Android for on-the-go consultations.
Are calls recorded?+
No — calls are never recorded automatically. Recording is off by default and only starts when it is requested and both parties explicitly approve it on the call. With mutual consent you can get an AI-generated summary and full transcript; without it, nothing is recorded or stored.
How do experts get paid?+
Experts keep 80% of their earnings and can request a payout anytime ($25 minimum). After admin approval, funds go directly to your bank account — via Airwallex in the US and Wise for other countries — typically within 1-2 business days. Track your earnings in real time on your dashboard, and payment is guaranteed even if a call drops due to technical issues.
Can I offer both free and paid consultations?+
Experts set their own per-minute rate — starting as low as $0.01 per minute — so you're in full control of pricing. There are no free consultations, but you can set a low entry rate to qualify new clients and a higher rate for deeper work. Clients only ever pay for the exact minutes they use.
